Responsibilities and Tasks
- Providing legal advice to the University management and other governing bodies
- General legal support: providing legal information to all organisational units and university members
- Cooperating closely with and providing legal support to other administrative departments and units
- Representing the Medical University of Vienna in court and administrative proceedings, contract negotiations, and proceedings before the Constitutional Court and the Administrative Court
- Preparing contracts, notices and other legal documents
- Drafting position papers, legal opinions, circulars, etc.
- Providing opinions on legislation and regulations
- Preparing and holding MedUni Vienna elections
- Participating in collective bargaining as part of the National University Federation
- Conducting information and training events
