Medical University of Vienna's Subsidiaries

Together with five other universities, MedUni Vienna founded Acomarket GmbH in 2019. As the central IT service broker and service provider of the Austrian universities, it is to bundle the activities in the context of digitisation and make them accessible to all universities.

CBmed combines excellent research infrastructure, scientific expertise, medical knowledge, national and international industry partners for systematic medical biomarker research. In addition to the Medical University of Graz (43.5 percent), CBMed is owned by the Medical University of Vienna (20 percent), Graz University of Technology and Graz University of Technology, Joanneum Research and the Austrian Institute of Technology. 34 industrial and 23 scientific partners have joined the consortium.

MUVI is entitled to appear as a private-economically operating enterprise in the international health care market as an exporter of Medical Science and Healthcare management, and to strengthen the scientific Renommée of the MedUni Vienna internationally.
