MedUni Vienna’s Department of Physical Medicine, Rehabilitation and Occupational Medicine focuses on I) rehabilitation of patients with oncological diseases, II) medical fitness training and performance diagnostics, III) diagnosis and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal, neuromuscular and cardiovascular diseases, IV) posturography, V) gait analysis (Cenior-Leg, Actigait, C-Brace) and the best possible general care in all aspects of physical medicine and rehabilitation.
The portfolio of treatments offered to outpatients by specialist doctors, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, masseurs and health professionals includes a whole range of treatments and services: biofeedback, individual and group therapy (for example for expectant mothers, patients with neurological or rheumatic diseases, or spinal problems), electrotherapy and thermotherapy, massage, lymphatic drainage and brain training, as well as home and workplace assessments.
