There is a lot of information to pay attention to at the beginning of the Doctoral Programme of Applied Medical Science UN790 at the University of Vienna. We wanted to help you in organizing and put together all the relevant information you need for a successful start.

Welcome for new doctoral students: The PhD Office organises a welcome event each year at the end of the registration period to give you the opportunity to familiarise yourself with all the facilities and departments that the University offers and that may be relevant to you during your PhD. It is also a good opportunity to meet other doctoral students outside your group/field. All supervisors will be informed of the event and asked to give new doctoral students time off to attend. Nevertheless, please discuss your participation with your supervisor and register for the event via email. More detailed information will be sent to your student email address once you have enrolled. We look forward to meeting you in person at the event
