The Interdisciplinary Pain Medicine course is not just about pain therapy, and covers more than advanced study of chronic pain diagnosis for various specialist fields.
As well as the latest scientific research and practical skills, we place particularly strong emphasis on differential diagnosis to train students in advanced skills for the diagnosis of complex pain syndromes. The curriculum includes study of various forms of therapy from different disciplines, for example techniques from physiotherapy and psychotherapy as well as pharmacology, alongside training in invasive treatment techniques using anatomical specimens and training in doctor-patient communication.
