Meet the Next Generation of Immunologist (NGI)

Who are we and what do we stand for?

First off, we want to empower each other as Immunologists and scientists.

The Next Generation Immunologists (NGI) was founded in 2019 as a young researchers' initiative and became a working group of the Austrian Society for Allergology and Immunology (ÖGAI). NGI aims to support and connect young researchers in the fields of immunology and allergology. Through a range of workshops, lectures, meetups, and lecture series, NGI provides valuable resources and knowledge to inform young scientists about current topics in the scientific world such as mental health, career support, and scientific lectures.

Our activities

For those interested in staying updated with NGI's activities, there are several ways to get involved. Subscribing to their e-mail list allows individuals to receive regular updates and announcements. Additionally, NGI can be followed on social media platforms such as Twitter and Instagram, where the latest news and events are shared. NGI also encourages students (of all levels) and early postdocs to join their board, which meets every two months to discuss new ideas and organize exciting events.
