Central areas of responsibility

The Human Resources and Human Resources Development Department at MedUni Vienna is divided into four central areas.

The Personnel Administration unit offers comprehensive information and advice on all relevant labour and salary law issues. It sees itself as a solution-oriented service organisation that is responsible for the efficient and uniform implementation of all employment, salary and labour law issues. The unit is also responsible for managing the Electronic working schedule Manager (EDM), which enables duty plans to be organised in accordance with the KA-AZG. In addition to the administration of personnel data, great importance is attached to the prompt processing of all enquiries and competent advice in the areas of labour law, immigration law and professional law.

The Human Resources department is responsible for managing the Electronic Working Schedule Manager (EDM). The EDM has three main functions: It enables duty rostering that complies with the requirements of the KA-AZG, provides a platform for managing absences for all MedUni Vienna staff and enables all employees to view their personal time account. The EDM is constantly being further developed in order to be able to react to legal changes and specific requirements or needs of the clinics.
