Duration and structure „Academic Expert“

  1. The university course lasts 4 semesters and has a scope of 90 ECTS credits. Of these, 80 ECTS points are earmarked for the compulsory courses in the modules and 10 ECTS points for the written thesis.
  2. The maximum duration of study is 6 semesters, which corresponds to the scheduled period of study plus 2 semesters. After that, admission to the university course expires.
  3. Part of the theoretical material may be offered as distance learning (e.g. e-learning).
  4. (The university course shall be conducted on a part-time basis. The courses may also be held during non-teaching periods.
  5. The courses shall be held in German and English.

 

Duration and structure „Master of Science (CE)“

  1. The university programme lasts 5 semesters and has a scope of 120 ECTS points. Of these, 89 ECTS points are for the compulsory courses in the modules, 10 ECTS points for excursions/seminar work, 20 ECTS points for the written Master's thesis and 1 ECTS point for the final examination by a board of examiners including the defence of the Master's thesis.
  2. The maximum duration of study is 7 semesters, which corresponds to the scheduled period of study plus 2 semesters. After that, admission to the university course expires.
  3. Part of the theoretical material can be offered as distance learning (e.g. e-learning).
  4. The university course is run on a part-time basis. The courses can also be held during the time when there are no lectures.
  5. The courses are held in German and English.
