The supplementary examination in Latin is not necessary, if you have successfully taken Latin at a secondary school to the extent of 10 semester hours.

Deadlines | legally required until the end of the first study phase, globally extended by decree until the end of the third semester. A further extension of the deadline possible upon request to the Curriculum Director (by e-mail to margarete.ritzal@meduniwien.ac.at), before the end of the above-mentioned deadlines, in case of valid reasons or negative Latin examination results. Recognition | Examinations taken at other universities can only be recognised as supplementary examination in Latin, if it is the supplementary Examination in Latin of the corresponding university (acc. to § 4 Abs. 1 lit. a UBVO 1998). The determination of equivalence at other universities than MedUni Vienna is subject to the guidelines of the other university, but it absolutely requires a registration as an officially enrolled student at MedUni Vienna at the time of taking the examination. |
