
(Vienna, 27 May 2024) MedUni Vienna's attractions around the campus of MedUni Vienna and University Hospital Vienna with 150 stations on the Medical Research Mile at the Long Night of Research attracted around 10,000 interested visitors on 24 May 2024.
Visitors were able to immerse themselves in the fascination of pioneering research and developments, learn about or try out cutting-edge treatment and examination methods, experience live heart surgery, conduct brain research, discover digital dentistry and much more.
Long Night of Research also a great success nationwide
Almost 170,000 interested people took advantage of the wide range of activities on offer at around 270 locations throughout Austria. With over 2,800 stations, guided tours, workshops, lectures, live presentations and experiments, research was made tangible, understandable and visible. In Vienna alone, there were 44,730 visitors.
The Long Night of Research takes place every two years throughout Austria.
